I have been involved with martial arts and particularly Tae Kwon Do for many years now, and having recently moved to a newer taining hall we felt that we needed to promote the club more. I was tasked with designing and producing print and web ready versions of the club emblem from scratch.
I wanted the final version to include the folowing:
- All the belt colours worn are visible (white, yellow, green, blue, red and black).
- Symbol of Wembley Burrough (new Wembley Stadium Arc).
- The martial arts origin (Korea, in the background and korean text for Tae Kwon Do).
- A kik chosen personally, displying strong fluid movements (which Tae Kwon Do is famous for).
- And Finally, an acknowledgement of our federation (BUTF; Britsh United TKD Federation).
